It is estimated,
that in southeast-Asia hundred thousands of children are in the grips of the sex industry, most of them are from Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.

The UN children`s help otganization UNICEF warns,
that the Corona Virus Pandemic „over the next decade will destroy all of the advances made for children in southeast Asia in the fields of health, education, as well as in other areas.“
The results of the UNICEF report titled „Lives Upendet“
show that „the side-effects of the Pandemic will have severe consequences for approximately 600 million children worldwide.“ According to the document „vaccinations, nutrition and other health-related services just in the next six months would become so interrupted, that up to 459,000 children and mothers in southeast Asia could be threatened with the loss of their life.“
Your donation works – even in times of Corona
Thanks to your donation, street children can go to school in the Sunshine Kids Home Thailand, children and teenagers in Thailand escape from violence and street children get a home where we take them off the streets and give them the chance to grow up in a humane way.
In the current extremely difficult time of the Corona Pandemic, a state of exception prevails around the globe. This also applies to our projects. Thanks to your help we are currently adapting our educational projects to the needs of the Sunshine Kids Home during the Corona crisis.
At the centre of WE FOR CHILDREN
is the conviction that every child has a right to education, medical care and development as a free individual. Wir für Kinder was founded in Germany and offers street children a safe space in which they can grow up in a protected environment with protection and the necessary care.
With a strong focus on education, sports and culture, WIR FÜR KINDER wants to strengthen the self-esteem of children and give them the chance to be children. The long-term goal is to give children the tools and opportunities they need to lead a fulfilled and dignified life away from poverty, crime, drug use, child labour and prostitution.
