Sunshine Kids Home
in the Sunshine Kids Home 50 street and slum children will get a new home in the long term, where they grow up protected in love and security. Street children get access to school and a perspective after school.
Besides the school lessons
qualified personnel from the fields of psychology, education, sports and culture also look after the children in their leisure time. Together with the children we make excursions so the children can take part in cultural events and be active in sports, including participation in tournaments.
So the children will experience moments of happiness.
So that also street children and children from poor families from Thailand have fun, a happy childhood and a future worth living.
The Corona Crisis
has far-reaching consequences in Thailand. The further development of the health situation, especially in the urban areas, is uncertain. However, the economic consequences are already serious.

Whoever can read, write and do math,
has a better future. Additionally, whoever has a good general education, he an free himself from poverty. In the WE FOR KID home in Hua Hin, the children will not only learn to read write and do math, but will also be able to cultivate their artistic skills and develop their talents in sport.

with sport, especially football the children can experience the right to play and recreation while strengthening their self-esteem.
- We will have the parents and adults from the region participate by integrating them into the project, for example, by teaching them to become trainers or by offering them jobs in the project.
The wonder in the children’s eyes will cause the stars of all creation to shine….

remain for the children in the We for Kids home important attachment figures even after the children are accepted in the program. For the development of the young people, contact to their relatives is very important.

Therefore we make contact with the family and accompany the them, from the first day in the kids home;
- The contact to the family is accomplished in different ways: This includes letters, telephone calls, meetings and regular visits of the children and youth to their family and relatives.
- Our goal is to re-integrate the children into their family
This can only happen if the situation, especially the financial, in the family relaxes.
In the „Sunshine Kids home“, the children strengthen their personality and learn to create a valuable relationship to their family.

In many ways, health related disadvantages are socialized. This creates an impact on social work not only theoretically, but also practically, seeing that that social problems the client is dealing with, are directly correlated to health concerns. Through the intensification of social issues within society, health issues exponentiate.
Social Work
Due to this, social work has to again work for health, if it doesn’t want to relinquish the claim to provide holistic support. Based on several finding about the correlation of poverty and health, prospects of health promotion and prevention can be showcased in social work within social services.
Children in poverty
The number of Thais living in poverty rose from 4.85 million to over 6.7 million in 2019. Poverty increased in all regions and in 61 of the 77 provinces of the country.
